2017's first member of the month the legend that is...gareth thomas
- Favourite moment since starting CrossFit? Either the weightlifting seminar with Marius Hardiman or the throwdown last summer. Both were great learning experiences.
-Favourite workout? MURPH Was one of the first crossfit workout I ever tried. And still a firm favourite. But Crossfit Amanda is the one I hope to do Rx sometime
-When did you start at CrossFit Aylesbury and why? I started a Crossfit Aylesbury January 2016 when I came for a taster on a Friday night. Which I loved and got invited to the open day on the Saturday. Weightlifting workshop in the morning, wodding in the afternoon. I was blown away by how friendly everyone was. From that moment I was hooked.
-What impact has CrossFit had on you since beginning? I have been following crossfit from a far for a while. Using kettlebells and equipment in a "globo" gym. Doing whatever workouts I could. Finally finding CFAY and getting proper coaching. I have become better at my form. And listening to my body. And caring for myself.
-What are your future goals? I hope to inspire my family to enjoy a healthier lifestyle. Be a great father/husband. Would love to become a better weightlifter in time and maybe even compete.

I thought I was fairly fit when I started. But I have progressed loads. So much better at lots of the moves. My snatch has gone up 43% and the clean and jerk 50% It's all thanks to you Madz and Jane.
