- Favourite moment since starting CrossFit?
When I recently hit a new PB on my deadlift - a massive 255kg!
The first partner WOD I did, when Helen almost killed me!
It made me realise how far I've got to go!
-When did you start at CrossFit Aylesbury and why?
I started in January 2017.
I fancied a new challenge and a break from the "gym" scene and ended up loving CrossFit so much that I'm not interested in going back to a normal gym!
-What impact has CrossFit had on you since beginning?
It definitely made me realise how unfit and inflexible I was and how much CrossFit can improve so many different aspects of my fitness: strength, CV fitness, flexibility, muscular endurance. I've also enjoyed learning lots of new lifting techniques and exercises that I have never done before.
-What are your future goals?
Too many to list all of them! But probably the most important ones would be:
• learn how to muscle up
• become fitter and leaner
• improve flexibility so I will be able to OVERHEAD SQUAT!!
It's been great to see Jack's progress in his relatively short time at CrossFit Aylesbury - we can't wait to see where his potential will take him!
